Elderly Action gives you
- A three times a year Newsletter including
information on clubs, trips, events, and useful contact numbers
- A three times a year updated trades list (advertising
feature)
- A first point of call for information, advice
and help in accessing tradesmen, statutory services, benefits, and
other sources of help
- Access to a small team of friendly,
dedicated, resourceful staff and volunteers to help you through a
difficult situation, crisis, or time of uncertainty
- Your membership card which allows next of
kin to
be contacted on your behalf when necessary
- The membership card also has allowed many
a lost purse to be reunited with its owner
Last
Year we delivered over 27,000 recorded services to the public. In addition
we assisted lunch clubs, coffee mornings, pantomimes, concerts, surgery flu
jabs, and a Xmas lights switch on. We provided an endless stream of
information, help and ‘sign posting’ to casual drop-in
enquiries, we were a sympathetic ear, and generally acted as a corporate
friend in need.
