TOP TIPS
- Avoid Isolated bus stops - walk to a stop that is well lit or less issolated.
- On an empty bus, sit near the driver.
- On trains avoid sitting in deserted compartments.
- If you are harassed whilst travelling on a bus or train, report to the driver or guard if you feel it is safe to do so, and report it to the Police.
- Always book taxis in advance and ask them to give your name when they arrive.
- If you feel vulnerable when arriving home in a taxi, ask the driver to wait until you are inside the house.
- Carry a personal attack alarm and use it if you are confronted.
